You can develop Self-Confidence
Give yourself the credit you deserve.
When you do a good job at something - whether it's cleaning
the garage, exceeding your monthly sales quota, winning 3rd place in a
talent contest or breaking the world record for plate stacking - acknowledge
yourself!
If you're not willing to give yourself the recognition you deserve
for a job well done, then who else is?
There are lots of way to recognize yourself. Buy yourself flowers. Treat
yourself to a luscious dessert. Get a massage. Take the afternoon off.
Go to the library for an hour - alone! Whatever would really light you
up, that's what you can do!
The most important thing is to say to yourself - you did a great job!
How
do you build unstoppable self-confidence? If you know how, have you done
it? If you've done it, do you maintain it? If you wish you had it, how
far do you think you are from it?
Unstoppable self-confidence comes from keeping agreements. In particular,
keeping agreements you make with yourself. Do you do what you say you'll
do for yourself? Do you do what you say you'll do for others?
Are you your own best friend?
How would you feel if your best friend promised to do something important
for you but found it more enjoyable to lie on the couch and forget to
do it? You get the point!
Unstoppable self-confidence comes from keeping your agreements AND believing
that you have something to offer to the world. If you are capable of sitting
up and taking nourishment, you have something of value to offer to the
world.
What have you been promising to do for yourself? It may even be the same
thing you write for your New Year's Resolutions each year.
