Searching for motivation and inspiration? New minister at Calgary Centre
for Positive Living is just the ticket!
Calgary, AB – November 12, 2004 – The Board of Directors
of Calgary Centre for Positive Living are very pleased to announce the
arrival of our new Spiritual Director – Dr. Rhoberta Shaler, direct
from Escondido CA.
Dr. Shaler, an accomplished and internationally recognized speaker & author,
will be at the Centre at 103- 17th St. SE most Sundays. She brings a
new life and energy to the Centre, and in her guest appearance last month
drew rave reviews and standing ovations from a record crowd. In the short
time since her arrival, attendance has already increased substantially,
and we welcome all new members to the centre with open arms.
Founder of Optimize! Institute in Escondido, California, Rhoberta Shaler,
PhD is a people skills and communication expert with a special focus
on conflict and anger management in the workplace. She is an experienced
and expert personal and executive coach, trainer and facilitator with
an extensive client list across North America. She has published seven
books, four of which have international distribution and translation
into 6 languages. Her most recent book, “Wrestling Rhinos: Conquering
Conflict in the Wilds of Work” was released in September 2004 and
is already in China, India, Mexico & Korea. For details about the

Dr. Shaler is an ordained minister in the New Thought tradition. She
was the founder of the Vancouver Island Center for Attitudinal Healing
and The L.I.F.E. Project, a New Thought ministry. Rhoberta has worked
and studied with many great teachers, mentors and thinkers such as Roy
Eugene Davis, Jerry Jampolsky, Tara Singh, Swami Vishnudevananda, Marilyn
Ferguson, Shibendu Lahiri, B.K.S. & Geeta Iyengar and David Frawley.
